Valley Bike Fest Recap
Last Saturday, Access4Bikes, along with our friends at the Woodside Improvement Club, hosted the first-ever Valley Bike Fest in the beautiful San Geronimo Valley. Can we just say, WOW! The turnout and entire event exceeded our wildest dreams! We are SO stoked that we got share an incredible day of riding, music, and community vibes with riders, families, and mountain bike enthusiasts from all over the North Bay.
The Rides: Every ride was packed with stoked participants, many exploring new trails in Giacomini for the first time. From breathtaking views to surprise lookout tours, the stories and smiles from our riders were priceless.
Festivities: The Loamy Homies jump show was EPIC, San Geronimo kept the energy high, and the Henhouse brews were flowing. Plus, the Marin CO Fire Dept brought out their engine for some fun with the kids—who doesn’t love shooting a fire hose?
Community: This event was all about bringing our mountain biking community together, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers and partners. Huge thanks to everyone who pitched in, from setting up stages to running the A4B booth, leading rides, capturing the day in photos, and more. You made the magic happen!
Advocacy: We had so many great conversations about trail access, the future of our watershed, and growing our A4B membership. The interest and support were overwhelming, with new members joining on the spot!
HUGH THANKS to the event crew, ride leaders, volunteers, and sponsors. Well done, all! This event showed the true spirit of our community, and the question on everyone’s mind was, “Will this be an annual thing?” Stay tuned... we’re just getting started!
